Educational Qualification for RRB Technician Recruitment 2026:
Technician Grade I Signal:
- B.Sc in Information Technology, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Electronics and Physics or Diploma / Degree in Engineering in relevant stream from a recognized institution.
Technician Grade III Signal:
- ITI in Moulder (Refractory), Pattern Maker, Forger and Heat Treater, Foundryman trade OR 10th plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trades.

Salary:
The salary details for the Technician Grade I and III posts are as follows:
- Technician Grade I Signal: Rs. 29,200/- per month (Pay Level 5)
- Technician Grade III: Rs. 19,900/- per month (Pay Level 2)
- Additional allowances such as TA, DA, HRA and other allowances will be admissible as per Railway rules for the relevant pay levels.
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026) for RRB Technician Recruitment 2026:
- Technician Grade I Signal posts: 18 to 33 years
- Technician Grade III posts: 18 to 30 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST Category Candidates: 5 Years
- OBC (NCL) Category Candidates: 3 Years
- PWD Category Candidates: 10 years
Selection Process for RRB Technician Recruitment 2026:
Candidates for the Technician Grade I and III posts at RRB will be selected through a multi-stage selection process, including:
